For me, being an AAEE QLD member means being connected to my peers and what is happening in environmental education for sustainability across Australia.

Over the years I have been lucky enough to link up with some eminent environmental educators around the world and despite many job and sector changes, including living overseas, I have remained a loyal AAEE member.

The Association is not just for teachers…it is for everyone in the community interested in, involved in, education about the environment, in the environment and for the environment

Joining AAEE was the best thing I did back in the day! It quickly got me connected with interesting, likeminded people – many of whom remain friends and colleagues.

As a teacher, being a member of AAEE has opened doors, continued to inspire and renew me and to connect with some amazing people.
